Staff Meeting Notes - 17 Feb 2022

In Attendance: IW, AB, SB, JO, BG, RS, MC

Irene: 

• Reminder to fill in 1-hour blocks on schedule to account for work done during that time. All hours for your shift need to be filled in with whatever you accomplished.
• Department-wide activity scheduled for this Wednesday, Feb. 23rd. means all city libraries will be open 12-6 p.m. that day. It isn't clear if this applies to us, so more information will follow as it becomes available, but we should be prepared to work a 9-6 shift that day.

Joy:  

• She is simplifying the titles or descriptions of the Staff's Picks lists to make them more generally useful to patrons looking for research guidance.

Steven: 

• We are working to put the Staff's Picks research guides online through the HPL Research page or on one of the Clayton pages.

Mitch: 

• We began taking control of the local digitization project formerly run by Digital Solutions.

Rodney: 

• He is working on a shipment for the bindery.

IW: 

• Reminder that there will be several groups coming in for research soon.
