"Ancestry.com Texas" allows free access to Texas State Library and Archives records that have been digitized by Ancestry.com and made available for free to Texas residents. Note that this requires the creation of a free "Ancestry.com Texas" account. That can be done at the following link:

Note that all of the above databases are freely available thru Ancestry Library Edition, but with a free "Ancestry.com Texas" account, a Texas resident can freely access these databases from home without having a paid subscription to Ancestry.com.
